This calculator uses any two of three variables: speed, time, & distance. Speed is measured most often in terms of distance/time (eg MPH). Pace on the other hand is a measure of time/distance. For example, the most common measure for runners is minute/miles or how many minutes can you take to complete a mile. Also use the calculator to figure how long it will take to complete a distance at a given pace.
Use this tool to strategize and prepare for races or courses. What pace do you need to maintain at various points to end up at your desired complete time. For example, how much can you slow down on the hills and still make it up on the flats to get that 15 minute 5K!
