FiVi.com Rocks out at the 16th Corrib Pub 5K

I want to extend a special thank you to the organizers of the annual Corrib 5K charity race.  We couldn’t have asked for a more pristine day to debut our site to the running community.  Over 2000 runners showed up with the winning time going to Corey Fehnel (Boston, MA) with 16:07.  How’s that for a blistering pace (just over 5 min miles)?  Hey Corey, you need to log that time on www.fivi.com!  Team FiVi showed up in force as well.  Posting some respectable times.  Yours truly was able to eek out a 23:15.  Next year, I am shooting for a sub- 20 min race.  Free T-shirt for anyone who calls me out on that challenge.  Keep in mind that to qualify for this challenge you have to be a duly registered member of the site www.fivi.com.  We suited up 14 runners, who sported the veritable FiVi shirt with pride.  Runners of all shapes, size, creeds, and running ability donated their backs to spread the message of fivi.  With our banner proudly displayed at the finish line we made a good showing for sure.  I want to extend a special thanks to our photographer Ryan Wall, belgrade bomber extraordinaire aka “Fisheye”.

If you were not able to stop by our table to say hi and pick up some information on our site, feel free to post any questions about the site and what we are looking to do either here or on my personal profile on fivi.com.  My username is pretty easy remember…nabil.

Keep an eye out for the Fivi logo at more races this summer. We intend to be very active and our goal is to attract as many runners, cyclists, athletes as possible.
